Mesh Training

The brief

Mesh Training is a VR training company based at NTU's Dryden Enterprise Centre in Nottingham. They needed a proper website — not a template, not a CMS theme, but a fully bespoke build with multiple complex features that all worked together.

What I built

This was a significant piece of work. The site includes an in-browser augmented reality viewer so visitors can see VR products in their own space. A guided configurator that walks schools and organisations through a structured decision process for implementing VR in their setting. Full e-commerce for purchasing training products and services. Custom booking products for training sessions. A blog system built from scratch — not a WordPress plugin. And behind all of it, a complete bespoke admin backend so the Mesh team can manage everything without cobbled-together third-party tools.

Every feature was built to their specific needs. Nothing off-the-shelf, nothing bolted on. Close, collaborative working relationship throughout — the scope demanded it.

The result

Mesh Training went from needing a website to having a full digital platform. They can sell, demonstrate, book, and deliver their VR training services entirely online. Everything managed from one place, built exactly how they need it.
